My own ranking actually changed a million times, with some titles going up and down by as much as five ranks. Sometimes it’s really hard to figure out what I think.

Sasa’s ranking

In this most recent iteration of a ranking, I would loosely say that 1-6 are brilliant, 7-11 were also brilliant but had a few weaknesses, 12-17 were very good, 18-21 were alright and 22-27 were rather bad.

    1. I’m a sucker for Tohoku content and the sadness of the crippled Yukinojo probably propped it up a little more than it deserves in its current form but yeah, you should put them on your list!

  1. Actually I didn’t comment on this so far! Hahaha, I’m very satisfied that I have seen 5 of Sasa’s best 6 and only 2 of the 6 worst :) It’s striking how similar all of our rankings are – there were no movies on which we didn’t agree at all? And I guess I really have to watch The Midnight After, Kraftidioten and Bai Ri Yan Huo soon.

Hach, I loved to read new Berlinale posts every few days – that way the Berlinale felt a little bit longer! <3 Thanks for sharing all your thoughts and recommendations!
