What you’ve always wanted to see: My apartment

drrt

Starting with a completely pointless, artsy picture: My poor old computer, now totally not in use anymore. With that said, welcome to my little heavenly paradise. Beware of the picture sizes (I’m afraid I was too lazy to do the re-sizing.)

Entrance area with door to the closet. Other people are extremely pleased by the strange shape, but really, I never, ever see it, considering you don’t see it when you come in and when I run out, I RUN out.

My neatly folded clothes in a 15$ IKEA shelf ! Note how the middle-right stack is entirely composed of buttoned shirts.

drrt

Now this looks significantly less neat, hahaha. (But it really is!)

drrt

Bed area all the essentials: A place to sleep at, my beloved GRITS sleeping shirt, my even more beloved and my bookshelf with many, many beloved books.

drrt

Obligatory shot of the bookshelf. I barely have any books, but the shelf is already filled with things?

drrt

Fot those who want to see what books I have.

drrt

Living space, if you want. Note the amazingly practical, space-saving IKEA laundry thingy on the left, and my chair, courtesy of the ECE 4175 lab.

drrt

Kotatsu with completely pointless but lovely placemats, given my nice neighbour. I think the cat pillow is staring at me.

drrt

Perhaps my favorite piece of furniture: Super convenient when I need space to put pieces of paper on, but I think I am not using it to its full potential yet.

drrt

Kitchen table. I need all the space when I cook, or more like I love it that way. Note my amazing huge number of noodles and don’t note my stack of strong alcohol.

drrt

Pantry. Of course I have all necessary appliances: Microwave, rice cooker, espresso maker and a water boiler, but also useless things like this butter thingy (which, incidentally fits a chunk of European butter but is not suited for the American sticks). I am also amazed at how well IKEA’s dish drainer works and have no idea why my air pump is here.

drrt

Of course I have a water filter – how could I ever survive without one?

drrt

The other closet-type space, where the drawer fit in absolutely perfectly. Drawers are so, so, so convenient and beautiful?

drrt

A little too artsy than I wanted: On top of the closet space, I have some room for shoe boxes. Actually filled with shoes (I am hitting 10 pair now).

drrt

Entrance area on the left, weird closet/bathroom on the right. I am dreaming of putting a cute little table-ish thing here, but now it’s where I put shoes I wear everyday. Actually my favorite shoes are, besides the Esellama shoes depicted here on the left, the ones I am wearing in the picture. Supercute!

Bathroom. I love the shower curtains (there is a transparent, second one), courtesy of Pampam.

Every series has to end with an artsy picture too. This is my top window. I actually look outside this window when I am showering – I have bad eyesight after all.

  1. So many details!
I love the shape in your entrance area! It’s like an entrance into a queendom! And the kotatsu! (ENVY!!) The shower curtains! The hat in your book shelf!

And ahaha, you also buy Barilla noodles! XD

And you should put up some pictures or posters on your walls!
